Hello Richard,

When using the GNOME scheduler, you have got about three options you can choose form when creating a new task.

You may opt to work with a recurring task, which is usually a primary purpose of the gnome-schedule as a frontend for the cron.

What this task does is that it allows you to create a task that can be able to run only one time, and it used the at service.

You can as well opt to create custom schedule templates, for instance, in the event that you wish to run tasks on particular holidays, you can make a template for that task so that you will not need to create again the cron rules every time.

Though this feature won't be needed by most users it is good to have it.

The currently scheduled tasks appear in the main window.

Regards,

Carl
