NET Framework 4. I don’t know why my .NET Framework suddenly stopped working. I tried updating, cleaning up and reinstalling, but it won’t work. I am running on Windows 7 x64 Home Premium SP1. I keep getting the error (code 0x80070643) during installation. What’s going on?

The problem here could be that you are trying a version of .NET Framework that is not supported by the windows 7 version that you are using. You will have to check to ensure that you have a .NET Framework set up that is meant to run on windows 7 64 bit, otherwise if the .NET Framework is a 32 bit and you try to install it on a 64 bit windows 7, then it will not work.
Just go online and Google for a .NET Framework that is supported by 64 bit windows, download and install it on your computer. It will work properly.
