How to stop Win XP from installing NVIDIA automatically

Hello

I have problems with my NVIDIA graphics card. As soon install to your controller, the display starts flashing and nothing emerges and remains blank, but the system works well with normal VGA driver from the system. I don't want to install the original driver from NVIDIA and you want to continue working with the system controller, but as soon restart machine, XP automatically installs the NVIDIA driver. I want to make XP to install the driver without asking, how can I do it?

Thank you.

You could do a few things really quickly to fix your problem. Try a different VGA slot or make sure that it is seated properly on your board. Re-install the driver and if you still get the black screen then reboot and when it comes back up change you Refresh Frequency Rate 70 hertz 60 hertz. You want to drop the refresh frequency in your display advanced properties. Then re-install the drivers. If that does not work you may have a corrupt driver so try downloading a recent driver off the net and if that fails then just get a new card. Hope this makes sense. In the mean time you can use Device Manager (My Computer -> Manage)to disable the Nvidia card. This will force the system to use the on board card instead. When you resolve your problem with the Nvidia card you can enable it again. In order to disable the Plug and Play feature in Windows XP (Home or Pro), disable the Plug and Play service in the “services” control panel (under “administrative tools”. Sometime it  maybe your monitor,it is not able to support the default resolution so refresh rate of the driver. You need to double-check  it’s supported resolutions.

To solve your problem first go to device manage through right clicking the My computer icon and then select hardware and then device Manager here you will see all drives for your computer. Now to solve your problem select the driver you want to solve and right click on it and select disable once disabled your drive will not be functional now you can uninstall the previous driver you just installed through the uninstall option now when done you will be easy to install new drivers for your device and it will be available to use further.

In case the drivers are not installed then you can install them form the home directory to do this just click drivers details and then copy the location in my computer tab and go to your driver location and delete them from there.
