I do not have a server monitoring software installed in my system and hence do not know the reason of server restart. Can anyone help me out understanding the server reboot event id?
There is an event id associated with the unexpected shutdown and automatic restart of your server. For unexpected shutdown, the event id is 1076 and for automatic restart, it is 1074. There are more event ids associated with each event which you can see in event viewer. Turn off automatic updates and get the monitoring software for your server to understand the cause in detail, if any problem arises in future.
