Gapps not working after applying CM 11 M10

I recently flashed the M10 build and re-flashed gapps from 06/06 successfully. I used the 06/06 since it worked perfectly on M9. However, when I restarted my Kindle, errors began flashing about the Google services not working. The kindle then went in to a boot loop and whenever I powered it on, the errors resurfaced. I have tried re-flashing or even clearing the cache but none would help. Any suggestions please.

Hi Joseph,

The reason it’s going to a boot loop is because the Gapps 06/06 is not compatible with M10 although it works fine on M9 since you are on CM 11 [ Cyanogen Mod] you can download the latest digitally signed Gapps from XDA forums.

Now to get around the boot loop I would suggest booting the phone in to recovery mode and performing a clean wipe, what I mean is once you are on the recovery mode you can chose clean data, then clean cache and go to advanced and then chose clear dalvik cache once this is done re – flash the CM 11.0 and then boot back to recovery mode again and flash the latest digitally signed Gapps for CM 11 and then boot this should work fine.

Post the installation connect to a wifi and update the google play which should fix the gapps crashing issue if at all it pops up.
