Hey,

Sometimes, in drupal you get a true 404 error, or a Drupal 404 error. If the 2nd one is occurring, that means you have a bad url in site information. If the first one is occurring, turn off the clean URL option or disable the inure model.

Hope this helps.

Hello Gwendolynhunter,

This kind of error message is mostly some kind of CMF’s (Content Management Framework) fault. But here you are telling that you are facing this problem, is there any other things do you have that you can tell us about this regard.

Now you can check this by examining only few things. Just click on all the links you have in your site one by one, if those show 404 error than that is durpal’s problem, otherwise you can say that is a true 404 error. For more information:  https://www.webdesignerforum.co.uk/topic/60002-drupal-7-404-page/

If that is a true 404 page not found error than you have to contact with your server admin.

Best regards,
