Apple' IPAD is a good gaming console. However it does lack the extreme capabilities. Now to improve it's capabilities, There are few good software in the market, That makes it better console for gaming purposes. virtual Console are easily available in the market, to play in a real way you need OnLive will be with a controller. Now as far as IBM' virtual console goes it is a good app for you IPAD and it works perfectly on it.
