Frozen password popup window of Exchange e-mail App in iPad2

On exchange e-mail app on my iPad2 (WiFi,16 GB, iOS5), the pop up window asking the password is frozen even after entering correct password.

Turning off the iPad is not helping and  the password window for the exchange is not going away not allowing me to access any other app on my iPad or to activate the slide control to completely cycle the power of the iPad2.

What to do now?

My first question would be how are you turning it off?

If you hold the home button AND the on/off button located on the short side of your iPad simultaneously until the iPad powers itself off and then release them so it can power itself back up that usually will free up anything that appears stuck.

If that's not working just give Apple support a call or stop in any of their stores, they can easily deal with these issues quickly.

Hi Rameem,

Upon reviewing your concern, it seems that your iPad2 device has been frozen or unresponsive. In order for you to resolve the issue, kindly for the "Hard Reset".

To perform a hard reset, kindly long press the Sleep/Wake Button (button on the upper right part of your iPad) and the "Home Button" (button that has a circle on the center part of your iPad) at the same time until the Apple logo appears on your screen.

And if the problem still persists, kindly restore your iPad using your computer that has an iTunes installed.

Hope this information might help you.

God Bless.
