Hi there,

I have recently acquired a Dell Latitude E6400 and am getting these frequent BSOD, the problem started when I  attached the laptop to a faulty Projector while I was doing  my projects, after rebooting I hoped the problem will be over but it is persisting, what could be the problem with the laptop? How do I mend this?

Hi !

Blue Screen of Death – BSOD is an error which frequently appears after your OS have failed to start a software, when you connect a hardware. When you have connected your faulty projector some errors were created in your OS. It appears when you try to start an application it the files are missing. The problem it might be with your OS or with a hard drive software.

To solve the problem you have to read the error when the BSOD appears.

To recognize the problem read the second paragraph on BSOD, and to recognize the main error read the last paragraph.

Then Google or search it on Microsoft Windows Assistance.

Follow the advices in the picture below. Problems are in yellow rectangle and the problem with the red ones.
