Many people these days are having problems on converting documents particularly MS-Word. Â For now, only Word 2007 has the ability to read documents written in Word 2003 but I want to know if there is a free ad-on that can open a file that was originally made in Word 2003 to open in Word 2007. Or any way that could be reversed.Â
Well if you create a file in Word 2003 then you can easily open it in Word 2007. The main problem comes when user creates a word document in Word 2007 and tries to open it in system having Word 2003 it gives error due to incompatibility due to format in which document is saved. But this problem was avoided by saving the documents in Word 2007 as 97-2003 format.
Still if one don’t have time to check file extension all time and then save file there is a compatibility pack available which you can download so that one will be able to open Word 2007 files having .docx or .doc m extension in Word 2003 also.

This is very simple. No need any software for conversions. All word or excel file can be opened in all ms office versions just saving is as "Save As" check out below image you will understand better.
