Free alternative software of ExQuilla

I have two email addresses, one for office and another for personal use. We have Outlook Web app MS Exchange Server. I don’t like accessing my email from a web browser. I asked our IT to give me POP or iMAP access but it was taking too long. So, I installed Thunderbird with an addon called ExQuilla, which gave me remote access to the server. The add on works great but it's a trial version and it's expiring. Is there an alternative software that is free?

There aren't many alternatives to ExQuilla on the internet, and the fact that ExQuilla offers unlimited access only when bought is because it's the best in this domain.

Also, if you want to change ExQuilla with a similar application that does the same thing without you having to purchase it, then i recommend you use one of these two options:

1. IRedMail : this is a completely free and fully featured mail server solution. It features a full-featured web admin panel where you can setup a mail server automatically. Also, it features a fast deployment, meaning that in less than 1 minute it will be ready to use and stable. You will have control over your own data, even offline, without communicating with other peoples storage mediums.

2. DavMail : this is an exchange gateway allowing users to use any mail/calendar client with the Exchange server, even from the internet or when behind a firewall. It also includes an LDAP gateway to an Exchange global address book and personal contacts. Its main goal is to provide a standard compliant proprietary Exchange. This means SMTP to send messages, IMAP for browsing messages, POP to retrieve inbox messages, and Carddav for personal contacts synchronization.

You can try Mozilla Thunderbird. It's an open source email app that is customizable and easy to set up. You don't need to worry that this program will expire and it also assure that you are always running the latest version.

Another one is the Zimbra Desktop. It allows you to manage multiple email accounts in just one interface. It is also a free application that allows you to download your email messages for offline viewing.
