You can create a histogram using MS Excel.

You can now put the data that you will use for data analysis.

  • On another column you will enter the Bin numbers.
  • On the Tools menu, choose Data Analysis.
  • On Data Analysis, choose histogram and click okay.
  • Under Input, place the range of data that you want to analyze.
  • Under the Output options, choose Output Range if you want to paste your histogram on the same worksheet.
  • You can also choose to present the data in descending order (Pareto), Cumulative Percentage or Chart Output by selecting it in the Output options.
  • To edit the fonts and labels, click on the histogram and choose Chart for the Chart toolbar to appear.
