In order to load certificates using Webstar V5, you should follow the format below.

The certificate must follow a single text file order. An example is provided below.

The customer certificate

ComodoSecurityServicesCA.crt

GTECyberTrustRoot.crt

Remember that there should be a space between END CERTIFICATE and BEGIN CERTIFICATE.

As usual, errors may be encountered and I can provide two usually encountered ones with tips on how to solve them.

First is the "Bad unsupported format" while importing a certificate. This happens when you use the Certificate Extractor utility but if you don't use this, it should work just fine.

Second is the "Netscape cannot communicate with securely with this server. No common encryption algorithms". This is a common error of 4D Webstar Server Suite. Check if you have upgraded to the latest version. If it's not yet fixed, check your SSL Settings. This can happen if you have not properly set up the SSL server.
