I'm trying to transfer stuff from my computer to my LG phoenix. It was working fine for some time but now whenever I'm trying to open any of the files of my phone on the pc it asks me to format it.

Someone please help me, i don't know what wrong?

Hi,

Your, question was to general but it appears that your phone memory card is the problem, solution is to try transferring the files in the memory card by sending it through email then format the memory card using your LG Phoenix through settings > sdcard and phone storage > Unmount sd card>format SD card and confirm to erase/format the sd card.

After this try connecting it to the computer and see if it works.

I hope this helps

Thank you,

Hi,

From your information, I guess you might have corrupted memory on your phone card, if the card is damaged I suggest you to stop using the memory card to store data and doing anything with that, example saving files to the memory, taking photos, or maybe formatting or deleting the card. The best solution is using “data recovery” software in this case “card recovery” that can help you recover pictures from your card. Now the first step to do this is, scan for bad sector on the card and let the window attempt to fix it for you. (Hopefully it works).

After windows repair your card, and you have done copying all the files to other storage devices, then it is time to format the memory card. You can create a backup using your phone and send everything to your email.

Hope this help.
