Hello Techyv Guys,
I need to know the exact font location in AutoCAD 2013 MAC, I have placed few fonts in my user Library but it is not showing up in the text style dialog box, Please advise.
Font location in AutoCAD 2013 MAC
AutoCad supports two types of fonts,
AutoCad native SHX fonts: These are installed by copying .SHX file into AutoCad fonts folder.
Windows System True type fonts (TTF): These fonts cannot be installed by copying in AutoCad but have to be installed in Windows.
For Windows 7/8/Vista:
Select the font files > Right-click > Install
For other Windows versions
The font files are placed in fonts folder usually C:WindowsFonts
If you cannot see your fonts in both of these locations, then your file extension is changed anyway from true type font (TTF) to PFB or AFM version making it a corrupted font.
