HELLOÂ guys do you have any idea on how to flash an ordinary Msi geforce 8800gt to geforce 9800 gt? i cant seem to find any solution to this and i would like to try it out how can i do this? Please help me.
Here's a site that gives a step-by-step guide to flashing an nVidia GPU BIOS. Personally, I haven't tried this yet since I don't own an 880GT card. May I caution you though that if you flash your videocard's BIOS, you do it at your own risk.

According to a lot of hardware reviews from several well-known tech sites, there is apparently no difference at all between the 880GT and 9800gt save for a different name. Both have the same hardware and the same performance which caused a lot of controversy since the 9800GT is simply a rebadged 8800GT and cost more at the time of its release.
So again, I'd like to advise against flashing of the BIOS because the risk outweighs the perceived benefits (you get a rebadged video card but no performance improvements at all). Hope this helps!
