Fixing Error Code 5000: Wrongly Configured System Files

Error Code 5000 can occur due to system files which are configured wrongly in your OS. There can be various reasons for the damaged files:
• incomplete uninstall
• incorrect deletion of applications
• incomplete installation
• while recovering your computer from an adware/spyware or virus attack or due to an improper shutdown
All these can cause corruption or deletion of data in Windows registry, which will further lead to wrongly linked and missing data in files required for proper functioning of an application.
Two ways to fix Error Code 5000:
Manual restore for advanced users:
1) Log on to your computer as an administrator.
2) Go to the Start button and choose All Programs, then Accessories. Select System Tools, and then click System Restore.
3) In the pop-up window, pick the option which allows you to restore your computer. Then click the Next button.
4) Choose the most recent restore point of your system from the list, and click on Next.
5) Click on Next to confirm.
6) The computer restarts, when the restoration finishes.
Automated restore for novice users:
1) Download the Error Code 5000 repair utility.
2) Install the program.
3) Scan your system by clicking on the Scan button.
3) After the scan is complete, click on the Fix Errors button.
4) Restart your PC.
