I am trying to use a Belkin wireless USB adapter to connect to internet in my laptop but it’s not working. I installed the required software for the device but still the problem persists. Need help.

These are the various methods you can try to fix this-
- Enter the BIOS mode and enable all the USB ports
- Then you can try installing the motherboard’s required package driver package for your device
- Stop using Microsoft’s update driver button as this has been know for some issues
- Remove the antivirus software you are using if it is pretty old now
Trying one of the above will solve it.
