You can try the following fixes-

  1. Try replacing the batteries of your mouse
  2. Try resyncing your device with the USB receiver by pressing the connect button on both the things and a light should flash on sync
  3. Try using your device on other PC and if it works then update your drivers by going into device manager and then looking for updates to your mouse driver.

A wireless mouse has two components: the Bluetooth USB receiver and the Bluetooth mouse itself. For the Bluetooth mouse to work, the Bluetooth USB receiver that comes with it needs to be connected to your computer’s USB port. Once the receiver is fixed to the port, you need to connect the batteries to your mouse. Normally, it has one.

Because it is wireless, the device’s source of power is the battery. Once the battery is inserted, there is a switch underneath the mouse. Slide it to ON to turn on the mouse and it should start working. Just a short note: when the battery starts to weaken, the mouse will also start to function incorrectly.

You will know the battery is weak if the mouse pointer is hard to move. Replace the battery immediately when it starts to weaken much better if you use a rechargeable battery.
