Hello

Probably your pendrive is crashed. Every pendrive have it's write/read limit and probably this is problem with yours. But on the other hand, it could be only software problem. When formatting pendrive be sure to select proper format of your pendrive. Maybe you select format which is not good for pendrives. Pendrives work best with FAT format so be sure to use that.

Dear Timothy Raine,

Your problem is difficult. There are many reasons for that. It may have happened because your pen drive driver was not able to run properly and it is failing to run. If your pen drive driver is not working, then there’s no solution. It may have happened because of PC viruses. I strongly recommended you do any of the steps below.

  1. Run PC cleaner in your PC.
  2. Setup Windows again.
  3. Install antivirus and do a full scan of your PC. Make sure that viruses are cleaned.
  4. Use your pen drive in another PC. If the same problem occurs, you can go the service center.
  5. Format your pen drive.

I think these are helpful advices for you. Thanks.
