Hello,

Your Opera browser is being blocked by Windows Firewall. Windows Firewall is watching Opera as a threat so you are having this error.

1. Go to Start menu >> Control Panel >> Security >> Windows Firewall.

2. On the left panel, click on “Allow a program through Windows Firewall”.

3. There, configure your Opera to be allowed.

4. Press “OK”.

Now, your problem is solved.

Also don’t forget to use the latest version of Opera.

The web browsers, by default, are left unblocked by the Windows Firewall. This means when you install a web browser, you can automatically or immediately use it to browse the internet. You will not be prompted by the Windows Firewall to unblock the program.

But if your Windows Firewall blocks your Opera browser, you can check if it is listed in the exceptions list and then remove it. To try this, click “Start”, “Control Panel”, “Security Center” then “Windows Firewall”. In the Windows Firewall screen, go to “Exceptions” tab then look for your Opera browser if it is listed.

If the browser is included on the list, you can do two things to unblock it. First, you can check the box next to “Opera”. When you check this item, the Windows Firewall will ignore the application therefore unblocking it from connecting to the internet. Second, you can delete Opera from the list. To do this, select “Opera” among the list then click “Delete”.

When you are finished, click “OK” then try Opera again. See if this works.
