I have read from a website that we need to keep the Internet browsers running the latest version to avoid security issues and to have the current features available for usage. But the problem is, I don't know where to check the Internet browser's Version.

How do I find the version of my installed Internet browsers?

Finding of Internet Browser’s Version

Hi Abishek,

Depending on which kind of browser you are using, finding the browser's version may slightly differ. Like for example if you are using Google chrome all you have to do is press the wrench which is on the upper right hand side just below the close button. After pressing the wrench a set of options will appear. Click on About Google and a pop will appear with the browsers version on it.

For Firefox it is slightly different. Instead you first have to click on Firefox which is on the upper left hand corner of the browser. After clicking a dropdown box appears. Click on Help, then click on About Firefox. Again a pop up will appear with the browsers version on it.

With safari it is the same concept. You click on the Gear Image that is on the upper right hand side just under the close of the browser. Once clicked a dropdown will appear, click on About Safari and a pop up will appear with the browsers version on it. With almost all browsers the method of finding its versions are practically the same.

Hope this answered your question.
