Filezilla Error: “Invalid port given”

Filezilla has been installed on my computer for a year and I've never had a problem with it. Just recently, it does not connect to the server. I did not do anything different. Before, I never used a port number to connect to the server and it never had any issues. But now, I always get a message

"Syntax Error:

Could not parse server address.

Invalid port given. The port has to be a value from 1 to 65535."

I am not sure if I have to use a port. I also retyped the Host, Username and the password with different port numbers but I still get the error. Does anybody have a solution to this problem? Can somebody tell me what the cause of this problem is and what should I do to address it. I need help!

Filezilla Error: “Invalid port given”

Hi,

FileZilla is most common FTP software for transfer files in hosting server. Most of the web designer likes to use Filezilla software for upload or synchronize their hosting server. You need to give proper sever host name, server username,  password and port to enter or login the hosting server. If you entered the wrong information of your FTP server, then your Filezilla can not give you the permission to access that server.

You could not enter your hosting server for your wrong hosting FTP details. I recommend you to log in you Hosting cPanel first and then collect the FTP account details from there. Then try to log in your Filezilla.
