I want to transfer files through Bluetooth.
From my phone to my laptop.
Laptop says it has Bluetooth but doesn't show anything.
Laptop model is HP CQ60.
Yes, if you see in your laptop that it has a Bluetooth, its true it has a Bluetooth device on it.
The only problem now is if the Bluetooth device is already installed on your computer or not.
Usually when buying a mobile computer, not all devices in it are installed. It usually comes with an installer disc.
You just need to manually look for the drivers in the disc to install other devices of the laptop.
You can check if the Bluetooth device on your laptop is already installed by right-clicking My Computer then select Properties. Click Hardware tab next.
Then click the Device Manager button. You will see your Bluetooth device on the list of devices.
If you see a “?” beside it, then that means that its driver is still not installed.
You just need to find its driver on the installer disc and then install it on your laptop so you can use it.
