File transfer from old to new iPhone – please help!

I just bought a new iPhone.  I did a back-up on my old iPhone because I wanted to restore my files to my new one. My problem is my previous files do not transfer to my new iPhone.  I am also having trouble getting data from logten pro from my old iPhone to and transferring them to my new one. I have an up-to-date iPad. Is it possible to sync my iPad to the iPhone I have right now or will it only work the other way around?

Actually that was what I was going to tell you, to sync the ipad to the iphone, with the files from your old phone stored on the ipad so that you can transfer them during the syncing process to your new iphone. With the two connected, you will be able to initialize a transfer process to move the files from the ipad to the iphone.

Or if the files are not that large, you can as well use Bluetooth transfer to move the files from your old phone to the new one, but then here both phones have to be Bluetooth enabled. So just confirm that first. In case the old phone does not have Bluetooth, you can transfer the files to a laptop using a USB cable and thereafter transfer the files to the iphone via Bluetooth.
