What is this spider.sav that appears in my folders? Is it a virus?
I tried to delete it but to no avail. It keeps on reappearing.
Does it affect my files?
It is definitely a virus, probably a worm virus, which can't be deleted by simply deleting the file.
Solution 1 : Buy a license anti virus and try scanning everything on your computer. Wait until the scan to finish and delete all seen viruses. This will clean your operating system and make it virus free.
Solution 2 :The problem might be worst than you imagine and not a single anti virus scan can fix the problem anymore. then the solution for this is back up all of your files and then start reformatting your system. It will make a fresh operating system and it a sure thing now that you system is virus free. Then don't forget to install anti virus this time.

Spider.sav is a save file for the game spider solitaire, this file is Right protected and it can not easily be deleted.
I entirely believe that it's a harmless because it's not a virus. You should not worry about the file, Just open the game and change the settings and disable automatic saving of the game files after playing the game. The file will appear not any more on your computer. Remember it's just a windows file.

This is safe to delete if you want to remove your saved data in Spider Solitaire game. If you want to get rid of it, just simply end the game or just click on Quit.
