Hi,

Today this error appeared when I was trying to to run my game Borderlands 2. I don’t know what happened since yesterday worked just fine. I don’t want to reinstall the game because it takes a lot of time. Can anyone help me to repair my game and please explain me what I did wrong ?

Usually with fatal errors like this, it is more likely that your problem is compatibility than other issues. If in case you are running the game on Windows 8 and higher, you won’t be able to run it because it is totally not supported. The game “Borderlands 2” officially supports Windows XP Service Pack 3, Windows Vista, and Windows 7. And also, the game has full support for both 32-bit and 64-bit versions.

So, if you are using the supported operating systems, there’s no reason for it to not work unless you have a hardware problem then that’s another issue. Your CPU should be running with at least a 2.4 GHz Dual Core processor or higher and your RAM should be at a minimum of 2 GB. Other software that need to be installed like Microsoft .NET Framework, Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable, Steam Client, and others are already included in the game when you install it.

Your video card should also have a minimum 256 MB video RAM and a little lower will surely have a problem. For the complete specifications, you may visit Steam: Borderlands 2. Remember, you should meet all the requirements to make the game work and playable.
