I am trying to open Adobe Reader 9 but I am getting an error when doing this. The error is stating, "Acrobat failed to load core DLL". This happens every time I opened it. But it was working fine few days ago. I also tried Acrobat 10 and 11 but still getting the same error message. I am running Windows 7 if that can help. How can I fix this?
Acrobat failed to load its Core DLL
Fatal Error: Acrobat Failed to Load its Core DLL
You need to fix the Acrobat installation, just follow the steps below:
1. Click Start and then go to Control Panel and choose Programs and Features.
2. Select Adobe Reader and choose Change.
3. Select the Repair the Adobe Acrobat installation option.
You may also need to scan your system for any malware or rootkit. Use Kaspersky TDSSKiller to remove the rootkit that is causing the issues. If that doesn't help, uninstall and reinstall Adobe Reader or use the Adobe Acrobat Cleaner Tool.
