Failure in opening msg files in firefox. I am trying to open a file from my gmail account when suddenly the error pops up on the screen saying unable to open .msg file. What do you think is the main reason of this problem? I need some advice and answer.

The main reason that you are facing this problem is due to the compatibility issue between your Mozilla Firefox and the .msg extension file. Firefox does not offer any built in support or plugin for such file types. In order to get this issue resolved you can use some external application like Outlook Mail Message. Remember that firefox is a browser and it is strict in some file extensions. The main reason why you can’t open msg file on firefox is that there is what we called incompatibility between the two. But in order for you to view this kind of file, use Google Chrome or any messaging software, try also some Microsoft messaging software.
