Need help guys,

Got a ThinkPad T500, it runs on Windows 7. I recently updated the graphics drivers Lenovo’s recent Wind 7.

Whenever I boot up or the CCC is run I get this error message on my screen

Could not load file or assembly ‘MOM.Implementation,

Version=2.0.3524.37340, Culture=neutral,

PublicKeyToken=90ba9c70f846762e’ or one of its dependencies. The located assembly’s manifest definition does not match the assembly reference. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131040)

I went all primal on the computer. Uninstalling, rebooting then reinstalling the drivers, but the problem just wont go away.

Any suggestions?

Nelly329,

You must uninstall the driver by rebooting to Safe Mode.

When you start up Windows to Safe Mode, it will not load the unnecessary drivers. Therefore, you can troubleshoot any driver or software that has an error due to corrupted or infected installer.

To reboot your pc to Safe Mode, hold f8 key while booting to access the menu options.

After the start up you will see that the desktop has an odd color, including the icons. It is because Windows did not load your graphics/display driver. But after reinstalling the driver on normal mode, the desktop screen will go back to its original state.

Uninstall the driver through the Ctrl Panel.

Reboot again your pc to normal mode then install the necessary driver that you've recently updated.
