Hello,

The problem arose when I tried to send a sequence from Final Cut Pro to Soundtrack Pro for audio mix-down. I tried many ways even attempted to open the project directly from Soundtrack Pro but the same error appeared. Is there any suggestion to resolve this error message? Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Your preferences maybe corrupted. Delete your .plist file found in the ~/Library/Preferences/ folder. The file name is com.apple.soundtrack.plist. If you reinstall, it wont resolve your problem because the files are stored locally on your Library folder which is beyond the context for the Final cut uninstaller. Deleting this corrupted preference file might help.

Note : Before deleting, back your file up to a separate drive.

If it does not solve the issue, run Disk utility so your permissions for the drive will be activated.

If doing the things above still do not work, try to delete the layouts file. It can be found under

Home > Library > Application support > Soundtrack pro > Layouts

Again, back all your files up before deleting crucial components.
