Hi experts,

I am trying to open a file using Mac Operating System but I get the following error message whenever I try to load that file. The file contains the PDF format and unable to open properly. I just restarted my computer and tried to open that file again but the same message displayed. I am unable to understand how to resolve the matter. Please help me. Thanks.

Hi,

In Mac OS there is apple’s native PDF viewer which does the job.

If you are using Adobe PDF viewer, some files can be password protected and there can be files which are not created with Adobe PDF and don’t comply with standards.

There can be corrupt file downloads as the data is not readable. Try downloading again save right away into HDD, then open with AdobePDF.

 

Finally if still problem persists, then delete some AdobePDF plugins (Viewer and ViewerNPAPI). Fresh install Adobe Reader X, this should work.
