Failed to install VMware VPD for SQL Server

Hi,

Today, I was trying to install VMware VPD for SQL Server Setup but I was unable to install it properly because during the installation an error message appeared saying “Unable to register the backup agent service”. I could not resolve this error so I need your assistance to fix it properly. Provide any suggestion.

First thing check the permissions for running the installation, if you don't have permissions to install and modify this can happen.

Second the issue can be due to name resolution of VDP Advance Appliance, which is to be provided in earlier stage of installation of this utility installation.

Hopefully that's the only stuff that's causing this.
