Hello experts,

I get this below error message often whenever I try to connect to a BlackBerry 10. For your information, I tried through Bluetooth, then I tried to reconnect the device and retry but nothing helped me. How do I fix this error message? Please guide me. Thanks a lot.

If you’ll be connecting a BlackBerry 10 Smartphone to a computer, make sure you already installed the BlackBerry Link for Windows 1.2.3 including its supporting components. If you didn’t install the additional applications for BlackBerry Link for Windows 1.2.3, you will still be unable to connect your Smartphone to your computer. Also, make sure your BlackBerry Smartphone is really running on the BlackBerry 10 operating system because it will not work on lower operating systems.

To make sure you have the correct version, download BlackBerry Link for Windows 1.2.3. It supports Windows XP Service Pack 3, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8. It also requires Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1, iTunes 10.1 or higher, and Microsoft Office Outlook [2003, 2007, or 2010 x86, 2010 or 2013 x64].

You can download .NET Framework from Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1. For iTunes, download the latest version from Download iTunes for Windows. In case you still encounter a problem, download BlackBerry Desktop Software 7.1 instead.
