Hi Shannon Stainbrook,

I have read the problem that you are having with your FactoryTalk, and i have experienced the same issue as before.

You have just to go to main Data/File of your software : C:ProgramDataRockwell AutomationFactoryTalk Activation

And then you have to remove the .rnl files from there. Then restat ftv/ftc.

Hope i helped you.

Cordially.

If you want to install FactoryTalk View Machine Edition, make sure your computer meets the requirements.

FactoryTalk View Machine Edition or FactoryTalk View ME supports Windows 7 (Enterprise, Professional, Ultimate, or Embedded Standard edition) Service Pack 1, Windows 8 (Enterprise or Professional edition), Windows 8.1 (Enterprise, Professional, or Embedded Industry Pro edition), and Windows 10 (Enterprise, Professional, or IoT Enterprise 2016 Long Term Servicing Branch (LTSB) Embedded edition) including Windows Server 2008 R2 (Standard or Enterprise edition) Service Pack 1, Windows Server 2012 (Datacenter or Standard edition), Windows Server 2012 R2 (Datacenter or Standard edition), and Windows Server 2016 (Datacenter or Standard edition).

It requires 2.33 GHz Intel Xeon or faster processor and 4 GB RAM. For the browser, it supports Microsoft Internet Explorer 11, Google Chrome, and Mozilla Firefox. Now, since you are installing it on 32-bit Windows 7, check if you are using Service Pack 1 and you have the right edition. If you are not using Service Pack 1, download Windows 7 Service Pack 1 and install it.

This is the latest and only Service Pack update for Microsoft Windows 7. When you are prompted to restart the computer, click to restart the machine. After booting, download Platform Update for Windows 7. This update provides enhanced features and performance on Windows 7 Service Pack 1. See if this works.
