First, uninstall the game completely and then shut down your computer. Unplug the cables to your Network Interface Controller (NIC) and then wait for at least 10 seconds. Plug the cables back again and then turn your computer on. Launch your browser and then clear the cookies from the Options menu and download Facade again from the link below:

If this doesn't fix the issue, try to contact the Facade developers so they can suggest an alternative solution to this.

Hello Miguel,

That issue could be as a result of the video card settings that are needed for initializing as well as anisotropic filtering on your computer being set in a way that they are not compatible with the unusual rendering style of the Farcade.

To resolve that issue, you will need to set the aforementioned features in a manner that they are controlled by the application. That will allow those settings to be active when you are playing other games too, and it gives every application the choice to use them or not to use them. So just configure those settings and then try running Farcade again. Hope this helps.

Regards,

Carl

The game “Façade” is available in two versions: for Microsoft Windows and OS X. Since you have a Macintosh computer, you should install the Mac version of the game. Also, before installing Façade, make sure your Mac is compatible with the game. For users with Microsoft Windows, Façade supports Windows Millennium, Windows 2000, and Windows XP.

It requires 1.6 GHz or faster processor, 256 MB RAM, and 1 GB free space. For users with Macintosh computers, it supports OS X 10.3 Panther or higher and requires at least 2 GHz G4 Mac, 512 MB RAM, and 210 MB free space. If you can’t get passed the loading screen, the problem is with your video card settings.

The settings for antialiasing and anisotropic filtering are not compatible with the game. To fix the problem, start your video card’s software then go to “Settings.” Look for the “Antialiasing” and “Anisotropic Filtering” settings and change them to “application controlled.” See if this fixes the problem.
