Extra monitor for laptop the images are weird-problem

I bought a new laptop and monitor. I am using BenQ GW2760HS. I was able to use both for the last few days. Tonight when I turned it on the Start button or menu is at the top-right corner and everything are turned upside down. What could be causing this problem? I never installed any hardware and software? Before I turned off everything all are working well? Can you provide me ways to resolve this problem? Can you provide ways on how to resolve my issue?

Actually, this is a very simple issue & you no need to worry any more.
Just press hold "alt" + "ctrl" keys and the navigation keys at the same moment. Now, the screen display would rotate. Continue this process till you get the proper display position. This strategy would definitely solve the issue.
 
Also, it is possible to follow these steps,
  • right click on desktop > graphics options > rotation > click normal > OK
