External Command Failed 30091 One or more third-party programs failed to complete successfully. For more information, contact your system administrator.

I was installing Microsoft Office 2010 when this “External Command Failed” error happened. How do I fix this problem? I really need this installed because my files are in 2010 and if I save them on an older version some modifications would not work on the old versions.

For the error that you got, please look at 'Setup Log' file and look for the error number. After finding the error number in the setup log file, look at the lines before the error number for you to find the line where the setup failed. Setup creates a log file and saves it as a text file in the %temp% folder on your computer. If an installation fails, setup creates a wordy log file in the same location and starting with the package that caused the failure. for more information for solution in error numbers, please refer to http://support.microsoft.com
