Hi there,

I want to bring up the subject on extending battery life.

My iPhone works wonders for me having all the apps I need but at the battery doesn't even last until the end of my day.

That means I have to lug around my charger wherever I go.

Do you have any suggestions as how to make my battery last all day and night if possible?

Here are some tips on using the battery wisely to make it's life longer.

1. Turn off applications that are not being used, such as Bluetooth, WIFI, location reminders, push notifications and fetch as they drain the battery if they are on even though you're not actually using them.

2. Keep the brightness settings on Auto- Adjust.

The brighter the screen is the faster it drains the battery.

Hi

A lot of peoples have that problem. I have some suggestions :

1.You need to make sure that you have the latest software from Apple.

2.You need to optimize your settings

  • Minimize use of location services. You can do that by: Settings> General > Location services or use location services only when needed .
  • Turn off push notifications. Notifications like instant messaging applications may impact battery life. You can stop that by: Settings> Notifications and set Notifications to Off.
  • Fetch new data less frequently. To fetch new data manually you can choose Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars> Fetch New Data and tap Manually.
  • Turn off push mail. Go to Settings> Mail,Contacts,Calendars> Fetch New Data and set Push to Off.
  • Auto-check fewer email accounts. Go to Settings> Mail,Contacts,Calendar, chose an email account and set account to Off or you can delete it.
  • Turn off WiFi when you don't use.
  • Turn off Bluetooth too. You can do that by: Settings> General >Bluetooth and set it to Off.
  • Use Airplane Mode in low-or no-coverage areas. It can increase battery life when you are in low coverage areas. Do that by Settings> and set Airplane Mode On.
  • Adjust brightness. Go to settings> Brightness and drag the slider to the left to lower the default screen brightness.
  • Turn off EQ. Go to Settings> iPod> EQ and trap Off.
3.Lock your phone

4.Use iPhone regularly. Make sure to go through at least one charge cycle per month( charge 100% and than completely run it down)

Hope i helped to you
