Explorer.exe file name too long

Hello all

I am facing a problem when I try to open any video. When I open it, I am met with an error on my screen.

The screenshot of the error is attached below:

The file name is too long

 

The message states:

Explorer.exe

The file name is too long

I have tried renaming the file name also but still the same problem persists. Anyone has any idea what might be the reason behind this error.

Any help will be highly appreciated.

This problem occurs because you'd have given the file too long  a name or would have put it deep inside the computers directory. So just copy past the file into the root directory such c: or d: and then try to play it. Also rename the files once copied to smaller names and avoid naming them too long.

Also don't place the deep within the directories.
