Hello techyv,

The error: “Delivery is delayed to these recipients or groups” is one of the errors that our clients are experiencing. Many other errors are being encountered in multiple domains for which other email addresses in the same domain are functional.

multiple domains error-Delivery is delayed to these recipients or groups
We want to have our mail filtered by their filter before reaching our server.

However, our MX record right now points straight to our exchange server.

Can anyone give us any ideas on how to fix this?

Will moving the filter, thereby changing the address to which our MX record goes to, resolve this?

Thanks in advance.

Exchange server error showing delayed delivery to recipients or groups

Hello Gloriawburbage,

The most common cause of this problem is that the remote domain is blocking some of your domain emails as spam. If the remote domain admin will try to clean your domain perhaps the problem will be solved. Otherwise, try checking your Internet Send Connector. Observe the SMTP queues and the messages within the queues. If there is a message sitting in your queue and it is waiting for be delivered, then the Exchange Server such as DNS or Firewall etc. is not accepting the message for delivery. You can troubleshoot those pending messages as well. Telnet on Port25 to the next and see if you can manually deliver a message. If the remote domain is not accepting the message then the problem is with them, but if you can deliver messages then your server is having some issues.

Hope this will help you.
