Hello,

When I want to start Wamp server I have this error. I think I might have this error because recently I made some updates on my Windows 7 (x86) and I don’t know how to solve this error. Does anyone have a solution for this ? What is the best solution to solve this without reinstalling my Windows ?

Thanks !

The minimum operating system requirement for running WampServer is Microsoft Windows XP. That means from Windows XP until Windows 8 you can install WampServer so I’m sure it’ll work on you. If you suspect that the cause of the issue is the update you did to the operating system, maybe you need to reinstall WampServer.

First, to make sure the error is not a glitch, close the application and restart your computer. Start WampServer again and see what happens. If it doesn’t work, reinstall WampServer. Uninstall WampServer then restart your computer. Click Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, and then Disk Cleanup. Select drive C and then click OK.

Check “Setup log” [if available] and “Temporary files”, click OK, and then click Delete Files. Install WampServer back and then check if it’s working. In case you are using an older version, download the latest version from WampServer 2.5 [PHP 5.5] x86. For 64-bit, download WampServer 2.5 [PHP 5.5] x64. Since it was built using VC11, you need to download and install Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012.

If the installation requires you to install PHP 5.5, visit and download PHP 5.5 [5.5.13].
