Hi,

As the year started, there is a lot of implementation our company is doing.

One of this is our application was shifted to SAP, we have there a function that will import report to Microsoft Excel.

When I am about to export a report an error message appeared, it tells me that Excel is not installed on my computer.

Excel is not installed, cannot produce spreadsheet

As I analyze the error it's pointing out that I don't have any Excel installed in my compute.

As I look into my installed application there is Excel installed in my computer.

So I am wondering why my other office mate can do with the export data. It's only me who cannot do it.

Please share some ideas on my problem.

Hi,

You can try uninstalling and re-installing your Microsoft Office in this situation in this situation. If that doesn't help, there may be a problem with your MSO.dll and you may need to delete it and fix your Microsoft Office Installation using your Microsoft Office CD.

MSO.dll is not changed when you uninstall and re-install Microsoft Office, perhaps that's why it wouldn't work. You can find MSO.dll in C:Program FilesCommon FilesMicrosoft SharedOFFICE12, all you have to do is delete it, put your Microsoft Office Installation CD and use it to fix the installation, this should replace the broken MSO.dll of your installation.

Hope that helps.

To solve your problem first check whether the MS Excel version you have installed in your computer is working properly. If not reinstall or repair it.

Then check the MS Excel version is compatible with your SAP program. If you have the source code of the program you can easily find the required version of MS excel.

If not, you have to install the correct version of MS Office in your computer.

If your computer is installed with the proper version of MS Excel and it is running properly, you can try with the new installation of your SAP program.
