Hi,

I recently got 2 imac's with Leopard, installed cs3 and when one system attempts to open 2 psd files in Photoshop, I get a message - "the program has encountered an error".  Even when I click ok, it pops right back up. The only way to get it to stop is to use force quit.
I googled some forums and tried to clear cache, reinstall cs3, reset preference file etc., but of no use.

Any HELP would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Hallo Julien,

The error you are getting may be due to little memory on your scratch disk, and therefore you will need to check the scratch disk and make sure that you have got enough RAM. If there is no enough space, you will need to free up some more space and see if that will resolve the issue.

Another workaround to that issue will be the following:

  • Go to the control panel.
  • In the control panel you will need to go to hardware and sounds and then try setting your default printer to the adobe PDF printer and see if that will resolve the issue.

Regards,

Carl
