Hello,

When I download some updates on my desktop which is running on Ubuntu and then try to execute the Update Manager to install the updates, some errors occur and an error message appears.  The message says that the system is updated but not all updates of application are installed.  And I am asked to run the partial updates.

Please find the screenshot of the error message for your reference.

Could any expert know how to solve this error please?

Thank you very much.

Not all updates can be installed

Run a partial upgrade, to install as many updates as possible.

This can be caused by

A pervious upgrade which didn't complete

Hello,

As you use Ubuntu operating system, when you connect to the internet the OS and other installed programs try to downloading updates. But when you disconnected the internet , some of the updates of the installed programs may not be downloaded fully.

So, when you try install all the updates , you get the error message . Another cause may be some of the software installed in your

computer are unofficial software packages not provided by Ubuntu .

Hope, you understand the matter.

Thanks, have a nice time.
