Error while installing the MS Web Platform

Hello people,

I was trying to install the MS Web Platform but run into an error (please see below). I believe that to install this, there is some sort of connectivity during the phase. It downloads a catalogue of products from the Microsoft site. Then a window popped with an error message. What do you think is happening?

Is there a way to fix this?

The error you're getting says that this definitely is a sort of  connection problem.
 
Before doing any further steps, try restarting your router and installing the MS Web Platform again. If that doesn't work, try opening the link mentioned in the error to see if everything is OK on their side. if you cannot open the link, that means that the server is currently down so you will have to wait until it's up again to finish the installation. 
 
If everything is OK with both, your internet connection and the link, something is blocking the download. Disabling your antivirus software and your firewall should solve your problem and let you download and install the MS Web Platform.
