Hello experts

I have now installed Norton Utilities 15 but when I am attempting to start the real-time disk defragmenter, I receive the following error message:

Plugin driver is not registered

Please try to reinstall the application or contact Symantec support if this problem continues.

Thanks.

If you are having this problem on your Symantec product, maybe there is a problem in the application’s installation. Supposedly, a plug-in in an application is automatically installed and registered by the software during its product installation. There is no human intervention on that part. It is done automatically by the program. You don’t have to select anything or enable something for the plug-in to be installed. Since this is the current state of your program and it is really having a problem with the plug-in, it’s better to try uninstalling Norton Utilities 15 and then install it back to fix any corrupted files in the installation and to restore its settings back to default including some that you might have customized.

If reinstalling the Symantec product did not work, try checking your computer for any possible errors. Use a disk utility application to check the system.
