I want to upload an address book in to my Snom 370 phone.
A basic CSV file is used by me that have the encoding UTF-8. It is directed by the user manual. The address book works fine but when I want to use the address book on phone I am getting the following error message:
Unrecognized Number format [sip:44
Then I used several different formats of CSV file, and quite a few versions of the firmware, but the problem still happens.
Need a solution.
Thanks a lot.
Error in uploading Snom 370 Address Book
Dear Jessica thomas,
According to the error message u receive " Unrecognized Number format [sip:44", if u see the error message on yoyour snom phone display then it seems that the VoIP provider does not allow using any spaces in the SIP-URIs. The phone will send the call request according to RFC, which means that the spaces u write r being encoded too. Try to edit some numbers and remove spaces from them in the directory to see if this could make any change and resolve the problem of "Unrecognized number format" on yoyour snom phone.
Hope this may help you.
Best of luck
