Hi Experts,

Please have a look at the error message attached below. It occurred with the HP installer. I had nothing to do but to restart my system to continue the installation process. Please suggest me to this issue.

Hello Joseph,

Use the following procedure to resolve that issue:

  • First you will need to stop the installation.
  • And then go to command prompt.
  • After that type : subst X: C:, and then press enter.
  • And then exit out of the command prompt.
  • And then restart the installation again it should complete

Hello Joseph,
 
I suggest to completely uninstall the Software and Driver package from, "Programs and Features" and delete HP printer folder from, "Program Files" and clear "Temp Folder" by going to the search box and type "%temp%".
 
Uninstalling the old driver/software will eliminate corrupted files and data.
 
Use the Installer disK when uninstalling the Software and Driver Package.
 
Download the latest Software/Driver and Turn-Off firewall/Windows Firewall before re-installing the Driver.
 
You may turn-on firewall back after successful installation.
