I am getting the following error message when I try to install updates. The error shows “BlueStacks installation failed”. I tried to install the previous version but the same message appeared. How can I overcome this error message? Any idea would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance.
BlueStacks installation failed.

This error is caused by an outdated or even a corrupted installer, and can be caused by a corrupted registry key. However, before we jump into fixing the registry you may want to check the Windows installer first.
Make sure that the windows installer has started under the Services tab. You may also want to make sure that there are no previous installation of the software in the computer that can cause the conflict.
If all else fails, you may want to check the registry you must only do this if you are confident enough and is familiar with windows registry.
Here is link a detailed path on what and where to check the keys to be altered.
This problem can occur due to many reasons prominent being corrupted registry keys that navigate the update data. I suggest you to use the Fix it application by Microsoft that enables you to repair the installation and up gradation problems for the programs that cannot be reinstalled as the valuable data may be lost.
Go to Microsoft Support website and then click on ‘RUN NOW’ option on right side of the webpage. This will enable the setup to download and you can use this application to resolve your problem.
I hope this information is useful.
